Waterford Orienteers organise events for all ages in the South East of Ireland.
Orienteering is competitive navigation on foot. If you enjoy running or walking,if you are interested in maps and navigation, or if you like outdoor sport, then orienteering is for you.

The next venue for orienteering in the southeast is Woodstock gardens in County Kilkenny. Follow signs for the gardens from Inistioge. First it is the turn of the schools as training takes place on Thursday 15th October. Almost 500 have signed up for what promises to be a great day. On Sunday 18th October there is a family day with three courses on offer and starts between 11 and 1. Long course: 7.6 km, 23 controls; Medium course 4.2 km, 18 controls; short course 2.2 km, 10 controls.
